This is in every game with armor

Any game, any map, as long as you switch armor

When you switch armor, then throw out the armor you took off quickly after, it will leave behind a shots piece of armor that takes up a hotbar and inventory slot until you interact with it.

This seems to be a minecraft issue and as such our options for fixing it are quite limited.
