Incorporate the player’s avatar into the icon/image of the login message.
More information:
Currently, with Modern Friend Messages enabled, players are greeted by a notification when a friend joins or leaves the Hive. Next to each notification, there is an image of Alex (as depicted in the image above).
It could be greatly beneficial to place the player’s icon (As depicted in the image above) in place of Alex. Adding this can help players visually differentiate friends without reading their names and adds another layer of customizability throughout the server.
I imagine it could be possible and fairly easy to implement. The icon would have to be replaced with the player’s avatar, then cropped to remove the boarder. The little green dot to show that the player is online would also have to be added on top.
All of those changes should be pretty quick to implement just through UI changes, however we can’t know for sure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
pretty sure that was with skins being used instead of avatars
i feel like it’d be easier because idk anything about al the technical stuff but it seems like it’s easier to know what avatar a user has because it’s stored on the server or sm than it is a skin because it changes a lot and has filters and idk
but yeah if this is possible it would be really cool
I like this idea but I feel like if the avatars were more pix elated would fit with the rest of the notification like if the bee in the avatar look more minecrafty.
