The reason that I want to do this is because I have friends who I can’t really talk to anymore because I don’t know when they get online and they don’t know when I get on. The idea I have here might fix that.
How it will work is that when you go to your friends menu, and click on a player, I gives you an option to “open chat box.” If you click on it, it will send you to a text box, in which you can press a button to open your keyboard. Then, even if the player is offline, you can text something to them. When the player gets back online, they will get a notification. Like, “New Message From (texter’s name)” and the friends book icon in your hot bar will have an exclamation point next to it, like when you get mail in The Hive. There can also be a command like /cb (player username) (your message).
And I’m completely fine if you don’t agree to this, what I really want is a way to talk to friends, even when they’re offline. This was just an idea.
They can’t really add this for reasons listed in Microsoft rules that I’m not gonna say here because I don’t want to start a comment war. Please, no… But yeah they cant really do this according to Microsoft rules.
Wildly off-topic comment chain… but also yeah discord wont really work, its just that for one or another reason we can’t all use one of those messaging sites.
Ye, and maybe you could do messages done in a friend GROUP(needs to be 3 people). It’s like a permanent chat box(unless the owner closes it) and is accessible by mailbot).
