The idea is either team upgrades or purchasable enchanted books in the item
Shop allowing you to enchant your weapons and armor
Price - I think enchants should cost diamonds
Possibly something like this:
8π protection 1 / sharpness 1
16 protection 2 / sharpness 2
32 fire aspect 1 / power 3
In case anyone was wondering I think prot should go on all armor once bought however sharpness and fire aspect should only go on the highest tier sword in the players inventory
The way the enchanted books bought from the shop should function:
Once bought from the shop a player would need to right click to add an enchant to their weapon or armor
Shop vs team upgrade:
Both could work however team upgrade might work a bit better because it will add an enchant to the whole team instead of just one player
I think a bought team upgrade enchant should only enchant a team or players existing armor or weapons not all weapons and armor bought after(feel free to give your opinion on this in the comments)
I think this would make it more of a late game purchase so that someone canβt just get early diamonds and hog mid
Fire aspect
I said fire aspect mostly because as of right now there isnβt a good use for the fire res potion also hopefully making it harder to run away without special later game items
What about an enchanting table? You can enchant your gear individually or you can enchant all gear, or you could have it enchanted when the gear is bought. To unlock the enchanting table, you need 16 diamonds and 2 emeralds.
List of enchants:
Sword enchants:
Sharpness I / 30 Iron
Sharpness II / 60 Iron
Sharpness III / 120 Gold (unlocked after 5 minutes have passed)
Sharpness IV / 120 Diamonds (unlocked when 10 mins have passed)
Sharpness V / 60 Emeralds (unlocked when sudden death happens)
Armor Enchants:
Protection I / 15 Iron
Protection II / 45 Iron
Protection III / 120 Gold
Protection IV / 120 Diamonds
Feather Falling I / 30 Iron
Feather Falling II / 60 Iron
Feather Falling III / 120 Gold
Feather Falling IV / 64 Diamonds
Tool Enchants:
Efficiency I / 5 Iron
Efficiency II / 25 Iron
Efficiency III / 50 Iron
Efficiency IV / 64 Gold
Efficiency V / 120 Gold
I think having an unlock able enchant table similar to the potion table is a good idea however, I must agree with a block by block in the fact that there shouldnβt be that many in chance to choose from and should only go up to level two
