As the Hive Discord has some custom emojis why not add them to the ingame chat?
I would be a fun addition to the game to let players express more emotion.
There are emotes on the server, for example if you type : ) in chat, 
will pop up above your head. Have a nice day 
But the thing is there only working in hub

I think the only downside is that people can spam emoji’s in the chat and make opening the chat laggy for low-end devices or just make the chat laggy.
Yeah, I have seen this on another bedrock server (they were like guess the difference, followed by several thousand emojis lol) and it lagged my game for a few seconds.
