EASTER EGGS IN MAPS/SECRETS
I have been thinking about some stuff the Hive Team could do to maps. Mainly Treasure Wars maps but maybe MM maps or SG maps too. They could put like secret things in the maps that give you Hub Titles and Avatars and even maybe Costumes. So for example, hidden somewhere in the Cyberspace map there could be a magnifying glass which if you click on it, gives you the Hub Title “The Futuristic Detective”. I could only really think of one issue: If people do nothing to help the team and just scour the maps for the secrets it’s gonna be really annoying if you end up losing just because of that. For example: You have been doing all the work, destroying treasures, eliminating teams and you just see your team mate going random places in the map. Now your at base and an enemy team rushes your base. You actually try to kill them but there are too many and you die. Your team mate is still just looking behind the map for the secrets knowing full well that his/her treasure is gonna be destroyed. If your team mate helped you could’ve saved your treasure. Honestly, if my team mate done that, I would be pretty annoyed. I can’t think of a way to solve this issue so if you have an idea please put it down below!
WHY MIGHT THIS WORK FOR THE HIVE?
People would scour the maps for Hidden secrets like these and brag to their friends about then finding it, so potentially more people on the Hive=more money. Also on YouTube there will be videos of people explaining where the Easter eggs are and this would also give the Hive more players because people that make videos of different games, bring the players of that game onto the Hive. I know the Hive wouldn’t really need this, but it may get more players online and get the Hive more popular. Also this will make players want to try out other Hive games instead of just playing their favorite one.
MORE EXAMPLES OF COSMETICS YOU GET FOR THE EASTER EGGS
• On the Mushroom map in TW there would be a stew which if you click on it gives you an avatar that is a picture of mushroom stew.
• On the Office map in MM there would be a desk chair which would give you the " The Office Worker" hub title.
• On ToyHouse on MM a doll would give you " The Amateur Bee" Hub title.
• On Stranded in TW there could be a drink which would give you " Livin’ The Beach Life" Hub Title.
• On Prison in Deathrun there could be a prison jumpsuit which would give you an Avatar that has a prisoner on it. This would be an extra challenge to find as in DR you look straight ahead and focus on winning the game bit knowing you just ran past a free Avatar!
CONCLUSION
Every season there could be new Easter eggs added to the game and taking out the old ones. I hope you like my idea and if you do be sure to vote it
