Mabye add dropping gifts during games so it’s easier and not connected to every hub game or game so it’s better mabye only drop gifts in games like hide and seek or murder mystery or deathrun I guess 
I’m afraid theres many major flaws to this!
Players within the server spend money to buy gifts for friends or give to others. Which is why it is made for the hive’s lobby servers! If you were to drop a gift in the minigame lobby and the game started, a player probably got scammed and their gift is now lost forever!
This will create huge pressure onto the support team and a lot of bug reports will be made about this happening. As the support team will get overwhelmed as too many people are losing gifts, its up to the owners to either refund or give the gift back to you which could be a hard task?? (I’m not a staff member, I have no clue what goes on in their end)
The thing i’m trying to say is, if you want to give a gift to someone, your better off doing it in the hub. The hub is a social place so its the best place for gifts to be. And in most minigame lobbys, chat is… pretty dead
However this is just my opinion!

how does it not make sense, they clearly explained why this wouldn’t work. also i don’t think this is necessary anyway

Yeah this is unnecessary, now dropping gifts in Nemo Slap and Spleef? Now that’s true fun. Watching as they all run for the gift.

I disagree with the suggestion itself. Plus hub itself is beautiful and considering your gift itself will stay there as long as no hub rats don’t follow you. Which if you do it ingame will cause many issues.
