It would be an item you could use to find the location of your team mate, because I know the teams get separated a lot (at least for me) in this game so I think you should have an item to find them. You would use it and it would send a distress signal to your team mate, notifying them of your location. I don’t know if you should start with it or find it in chests though.

Yes, but trackers can be confusing to beginners and having basically a mini map or like lightning or something would be nice. @tafSMa777 maybe if there was lightning others could see so it’s risky? Makes a cool idea IMO

How about you get it at the start of the game and if your teammate dies it disappears from your inventory.

There’s no point having two items that do the same thing imo.
I think the thing is though that the colour green represents any person, not just your teammate. Maybe the dot on the tracker could be purple or some other colour for your teammate
What if it was a tracking compass rather than a distress signal? That way, it’s not too difficult to understand, but you have to actually go out and find your teammate. It could be called the “Teammate Tracker.”
Green represents your teammate, always. The other colours are red and yellow, red being for opponents/enemies, and yellow for supply drops. Green doesn’t direct you towards anything else other than your teammate.
