Just a small suggestion, different colours for different types of boom boxes will be easier to recognize the type of boom box.
When the boom boxes are placed, they do change colours. Are you refering to their texture when in the inventory? If so, vote for your post. Also dont forget to vote on ur own post.

Nice idea.
But I don’t know if Hive can/is allowed to make texture packs for their server.
I heard somewhere that Hive doesn’t like to force people downloading texture packs, especially with low-end devices and/or poor connection.
