As you can see in this video. i redeem the gift but its not in my BW locker. I’m not sure if this matters but I’m playing in the Europe Hub.

The item won’t appear in your locker in the BedWars microhub as it hasn’t been updated yet, though if you go into a game or custom server and check your locker, it should appear.
The microhubs will be updated in due course.
