Creepy Cave Sounds on Hive

Idea:

Disable creepy cave sounds.

More information:

As some of you might know, in the 1.16 update for bedrock, cave noises were added to the game. This is great and all, but they can be heard even on servers, or at least they do on Hive. I’ve heard them in the hub as well as in minigames. They trigger randomly and are, frankly, a little unsettling. Maybe this is already planned to be fixed in some way, but I haven’t seen much on the subject yet. If there is any way for these noises to be disabled on the server, I’m sure me and many other players would appreciate it.

These are sounds that were added to the nether, to add to the nether atmosphere. I agree they definitely don’t belong on the Hive though

Maybe some of them are, but at least some are definitely cave sounds.

Hello there!
We are aware of this issue and currently this cannot be disabled as it is fully controlled by client. Hopefully there would be a fix for this in near future

Mojang adding cave sounds to bedrock was indeed a bad decision :persevere:

So yes, voted

Yeah I don’t like the cave sounds in normal survival mode so I definitely don’t like them on the Hive.

i think there’s a way to get them out. i call the technique replace the [darn]ing sound to literally the most nothing audio file and replace the sound.

Bump, I hear these noises all the time when playing Deathrun and especially when having on headphones. It’s quite disturbing :c
