Connection Issue on The Hive After Co-op Ban Incident

Hello The Hive!

My friend and I were playing co-op Build Battle on The Hive when I was mistakenly banned (the ban was later lifted). Since that event, my friend has been unable to join the server. He has not received any ban or kick, but when he tries to connect, the loading screen freezes for a moment and then he is sent back to the Minecraft main menu. Even after my unban, the issue is still happening on his side and we don’t understand what is causing it.

My friend plays on an Android device, and I play on a laptop.

They are likely banned too, but not getting the ban message screen, which is a known bug.

Please encourage them to go to contact.playhive.com, and submit an appeal. As they aren’t able to access their ban ID, they can select the ‘Game Ban’ option, which doesn’t prompt for one.
