Whenever you type in chat, you aren’t able to chat again for a second or two. Maybe if you try to spam more than 5 times, you could be auto-muted for x amount of time. This would help discourage spammers.
Also, I couldn’t find any other threads that suggested this, so this shouldn’t be a duplicate. If there was one that suggested this, it was hidden in a list of suggestions.
I guess you just want to see they world burn. That feature is very annoying, other servers have it, sometimes you might have to send multiple messages really fast, I don’t think you should get muted, except if you’re sending 100 messages a minute, or saying something offensive.
Maybe the game could just warn you about spamming, not sure how they would mute you for attempting to spam. What if the cooldown reset everytime you tried to spam?
Also if you say the same thing over and over again, it should warn you imo.
On other servers that’s so bad, for if you want to fix something, it won’t let you because It’S tOo SiMiLaR tO tHe PrEvIoUs MeSsAgE
For example:
BlueSlimeMC > hell
BlueSlimeMC > help*
I mean if you spam hi multiple times, then it should warn you/mute you at some point. But I do agree it might be annoying.
what if you dont type in chat other than saying gg?
sometimes when i play solos i just say gg when i die, but with this feature it wont. as blueslime said, its on other servers and very annoying
Hmm, idk but normally you type gg maximum once every game, so the possible system detects if you are SPAMMING the SAME message. If the time between the 2 messages is long enough, it doesn’t trigger detection.
Couldn’t the cooldown be 0.5 seconds though? Or just 1 second?
I’m fine with this. I play on console so i can only type like 15 words a minute. But I like it cause when I get hackusated people always spam
