Cape visibility issue: Visible to me, but invisible to other

Affected Service (Game mode, Hub, or global): Global (Hub and all Game modes)

What is the bug? My equipped cape is visible on my own screen, but it is invisible to other players on the server. I have confirmed this with multiple people.

Steps to reproduce this bug:

  1. Equip an official Minecraft cape.

  2. Join The Hive server.

  3. Observe the cape on the local screen.

  4. Ask other players if they can see the cape.

Additional information:

  • The “Only Allow Trusted Skins” setting is turned OFF on my end.

  • Other players have also confirmed their “Only Allow Trusted Skins” setting is turned OFF.

  • Re-equipping the cape and restarting the game does not resolve the issue.

Screenshots and/or video: Not available at the moment, but the issue has been verified through in-game feedback from multiple players.

Hey there,

To see other players’ capes, you must enable the toggle in the experience category of the /settings menu.
