Can't connect to the Hive server (and other regions)

When I try joining the hive, it keeps saying loading resource packs. So I was waiting until it finished but it gave me an error message. I tried connecting to other regions and the same issue occurred. I even tried connecting to other servers besides the Hive and they worked, so I’m not really sure what is going on. I have uninstalled and re

installed Minecraft and this issue is still occurring.

I am using windows 10, and on the latest version of Minecraft, I haven’t tried downgrading my version at all but I’m not sure if this is an internet problem, a Hive problem, or a Microsoft problem…

I will say that I was able to connect to the server yesterday, so I don’t understand what is going on.

There are many things that can cause you to experience issues connecting to The Hive, please consider the following:

  • Have you tried restarting your game?
  • Have you tried signing out of and back into your Minecraft/Microsoft/Nintendo account?
  • If you have modified your device’s DNS settings (to allow you to connect to non-featured servers), try resetting these changes.
  • Are you playing on a recent beta build? We might not support the version you are using, and you may need to downgrade to play.
  • Are you playing with an outdated version of Minecraft? A list of versions we support can be found here.
