On a Nintendo Switch that it on the Nintendo update and Minecraft update, when I join into the hive, I am in Europe and the game goes back to the server list with the "Invalid ip address” message. Such issues are usually down to you having changed your device’s DNS settings. You may have done this to allow you to connect to non-Featured servers.
If you reset any changes made to your Switch’s DNS settings, there’s a good chance this issue will be resolved.
