The Hive hub looks great and is fun to explore, but it lacks interaction for players who like to hang out, chill, or roleplay. A lot of people, including me, enjoy spending time in the hub between games or even skipping games just to relax, but right now there’s not much to actually do unless you’re queueing.
I think future hubs should include a few simple ambient interactions in places like cafés, shops, parks, or similar areas. These wouldn’t be minigames or anything competitive, just small things that make it feel more alive and worth staying in.
For example, cafés or restaurants could have preset food and drinks already on the tables. One or two players could take the cashier role by going behind the counter and be able to refill the items. Other players could sit or stand near the table and right-click to consume the food or drinks slowly over a few clicks. After that, the item disappears and needs to be refilled. The customer could also get a short effect like speed or jump boost, similar to how it works in Murder Mystery.
You could also add some benches that people can sit on together.
These are just simple ideas, I’m sure Hive staff can come up with more stuff

Hive staff, when you create a new hub (the current ones getting kinda old now) PLEASE incentivise roleplay thingies in the new map.
Tons of people stay in the lobby to chill. Imagine a cafeteria filled with people just sitting and chilling.
Also that idea with someone taking over as a “cashier” temporarily is such a great idea. I could see myself refilling people’s drinks.

Yeah exactly. People crave this kind of thing. Every time I log in I see people just chilling in the hub. Not everyone just rushes to games. I think those people also deserve a little something added for them.
If they create a new hub, they should make those kind of roleplay places like cafes more easily and intuitively accessible.

Although I doubt that they will ever do this since they very rarely change lobbies like that.

It hasn’t even been two years since the new hub came out, and we had the old one for almost 6 years.
I don’t believe that The Hive should add places such as cafés, however, I do believe they should incorporate the buildings that they currently have with these features and make the hub more interactive.
In other words, The Hive doesn’t need to create a new hub or new buildings, because they can just use the resources and empty houses that they have.
