Bring back the Sonic maps every summer

Heya!
As you know, in 2021? I think? The Hive had a sonic event. This brought a huge event to The Hive. They also had maps for every game mode I think

My idea is every summer, there is a sonic anniversary where they bring back THE MAPS, not the hub or event. Those maps had so much detail and I really want to see The Hive use them again.

I would love to see the Sonic maps again but I don’t think Hive could do that without signing another contract. I don’t remember the maps very well and I am voting, but I don’t think this will be added.

adding onto your post, i wonder if they could bring maps from java such as “sonic” from deathrun, “mario” from bedwars, “pokemon” from spleeg etc since they did make those maps without a contract i believe.

Tho prob not due to it being heavily based on IPs

The sonic maps didnt really look sonic related, they did, but with renaming, it might be ok to use

I think anything related to Nintendo is now copyrighted, and Sega’s partnership with sonic was kind of a hassle (I think), so that won’t be an option.

They are able to reuse the maps and assets, just has to be new textures and names. Infact a lot of those trap things from the sonic event have been reused, first for the pirate hub event then was used in some of the new deathrun maps. If they just textured those custom blocks used on those maps, they should have absolutely no worry of Sega coming after them.
