Axes we’re a big part in gathering resources from the trees within the map. Without them, what’s the point of the trees being able to be auto-converted into planks. I think its because you guys want people to utilize iron ores more but now trees wont be used at all. It would be nice to continue to have axes.
People did not really use axes much, so they patched it.

The people who didn’t like it are dumb. The shovel was useless yes but the axe can break chests and wood, it’s very useful, you can also use it to attack, maybe you have a diamond axe but no iron sword.

- Shovels are useful; I mine dirt a lot.
- Mining wood with an axe gives you wood fourfold; axes are great.

Bruh shovels are so USEFUL. theres dis epic trap. Basically bridge with dirt and when the person comes on the bridge mine the dirt with ur shovel and the person will fall LMAO…
Axes were brought back into the game. But at least you should be able to get a shovel from gold ore maybe. Not start with it.

yes bro they need to add that, maybe they could add higher tiers of axes so they are the same as swords, some people (like me) prefer axes for pvp than swords.
