Their programmed theres a diffrence.
Yeah they have pathfinding coding done
But so is generative AI? They just learn using Machine Learning and other methods
Hold up lemme go into nerd mode rq, mobs use scripted behavior and pathfinding. Generative AI uses machine learning to create new outputs. Both are technically ‘AI,’ but they work in totally different ways. 
This topic predates LLMs such as ChatGPT and clearly means AI as in server-controlled opponents/“bots”. I have updated the topic name and description to match this, please do not use this topic to argue about modern AIs.
