Idea: Blocks in SG

I like this idea, but I can see it being more difficult to play. Unless you have good aim with the bow and arrows, it’ll be hard to get players off of the platforms themselves, causing the game to be longer and more tedious.

Sorry, but no. This would ruin SG in my eyes, and would turn into Skywars 2.0. SG works fine without blocks. The gamemode needs other changes, which aren’t to add blocks.
Yeah it would be just a Sky wars with no edge. SG is unique by having no blocks.
Soo… you are saying you want to make SG become skywars without the void
SG is a ground-based, battle arena type thing. A huge part of what makes it unique is that it doesn’t involve blocks. Every other PvP game on the Hive involves blocks in some form.
Even though this is an interesting idea, it would make no sense from a game designing perspective. Camping would become really easy, and tons of matches would run long and go into deathmatch. I just think it’s not practical or necessary.
