Block Selector in Your Hot Bar

Idea: In Hide and Seek, you select your block before your actually in the map, which can be problematic because if you don’t know the map too well and pick a block without knowing any specific spot then it can be hard to survive.

So I believe that during hiding time you should have a list of the available blocks for the map in your hot bar.

To select a block, all you must do is right click on the block you’re currently holding and you will become that block. Your block choice must be locked in before the 10 second mark, or it will auto-pick for you and you won’t be able to change it. Also the hiding time can be increased to 90 seconds to give players more time to find the perfect spot.

To clarify, are you suggesting that block selection happens out of the hotbar, or that that you can choose your block once you are in the map? If it’s the later, when would that ability be taken away from the player to avoid abusing block switching during the game?

Im suggesting both. At the 10 second mark, your current selection will be locked in and if you haven’t picked one by then it will auto pick for you. Hope that clarifies things.
