Idea:

When u click the chest to put items in it you have to stop and open the chest’s UI

But what if u wanna put just one or two item or wanna put items inside quickly

I suggest if u crouch and click the chest the item in ur hand will get transferred inside the chest

I found many confused why would we need this mechanic it’s cuz I’ve seen simmilar mechanic on the hypixel bw and also it’s the amount of times I’ve died while using the chest

It’s actually hard for touch devices ,am level 50+ and I’ve a win rate of 70% ,you see my point?

Or you could just drop the item in front of the chest, then the chest would pick it up.

What if someone got killed in front of the chest though?

Um it’s efficient to just crouch and tap ,in touch devices u have to open ur inventory to drop items faster

And the whole point is to skip gui , that’s why crouch punching items is better option

That’s too op if you wanna put items in quickly then practise moving items into chests

That’s the whole point of adding this mechanism

What you’re saying sounds like why invent spoons to drink hot soup just wait for the soup to turn cold

The point is to make game as fast paced and convenient as possible

If the game is supposed to be as fast paced as possible then why have they made some maps bigger and why is wool 5 iron instead of 1

It’s upto the hive to add my idea or not if u like it give an up vote if not, don’t do anything

It’s not reddit or discord that u wanna have a conversation or wanna give your opinion

And if u wanna play the game with 1 iron might as well play free shop lol

I don’t think the Hive could really do that because chests in vanilla don’t do that. Plus it would only take less than a second more to just open the chest and put an item in.

hive has many things not in vanilla, maybe they would even make custom blocks like the ender chest
