Hey! To sum this idea up, if BedWars Trios is re-implemented it could be 3 teams of 3 against each other, instead of the usual 4 teams of 3.
Benefits
• Smaller Queue times: TreasureWars Trios wasn’t the most active gamemode to say the least, but the 3 less people, while not many, could affect queue times alot.
• Less Sweaty: The old strategy on TreasureWars was to send one teamate to destroy each team. This would still work just wouldn’t give near as much XP, making the strategy less viable and therefore making trios less sweaty.
• Uniqueness: Not many other Minecraft servers have a 3v3v3, so it would be something different for Bedrock Players!
• Exclusivity: a 3v3v3 trios would mean new maps exclusive to the gamemode! This means trios wouldn’t have to share the same maps as squads and this may motivate people to play it more.
Flaws
• Inactivity: Even with the new improved queue times that would come with a 3v3v3, trios may be inactive still. It also may make squads less active but that isn’t too much of a worry looking at current playercounts.
• Mapbuilding: It may be difficult to create fair maps for trios, saying that most islands would have to be diagonal.
THIS SUGGESTION IS ONLY APPLICABLE FOR IF TRIOS IS RE-ADDED, IT IS NOT SUGGESTING FOR TRIOS TO BE RE-ADDED.
If Hive were to implement 3v3v3 trios, they should probably do it as an LTM to see if it works, then fully add it if it works.
