Bedwars Trims game where a specific trim will give advantages

After Skywars Kits got removed, I have a suggestion that I think would make The Hive more enjoyable with an addition called “Bedwars Trims”, in the game, it would operate like a normal Bedwars game but with the twist being that you can apply trims to your gear and get advantages based on your trim.

Basically I think these trims should appear at the start of the game and the villager will sell different trims for more or less emeralds based on its advantages. Here’s a list of what trims I think should be added first.

Copper Rib Armor Trim, Temporary Protection enabled using a book just like in Skywars Kits lasting only 10 seconds, cooldown every two minutes, 8 emeralds for it to be applied to diamond armor, 10 diamonds and 10 gold for it to be applied Iron Armor.

Copper Dune Armor Trim, gives you blast protection against fireballs (not taking away all the damage from a fireball but reducing it), lasts forever, 5 emeralds for it to be applied to diamond armor, 7 diamonds and 10 gold for it to be applied to iron armor.

And finally the Copper Spire Armor Trim, this will require you to have at least one ender pearl and there will be a trigger to teleport back to your team, this should have a cooldown of 3 minutes and cost 7 Emeralds for it to be applied to diamond armor, then 10 diamonds and 10 gold for it to be applied to Iron armor.

These trims will be not be available to Chainmail Armor and you should also be able to only buy one full set of armor with trims, so multiple people don’t buy multiple sets of diamond armor or iron armor to get multiple advantages.

I believe this would be a very interesting and fun normal Bedwars alternative to Hive Players and may even attract former Skywars Kits players.

I feel like this’ll just benefit the type of people who try to get diamond armor as quickly as possible and camp mid for the entire game. Maybe allow it to be applied to iron armor and use gold or diamonds (You could keep the emerald price tag and allow it to be purchased for the diamond and gold equivalents) to purchase it.

hmm okay I’ll edit it, thank you for your suggestion! I do hate those people who just go quickly to the generator and get diamond armor lol

This is a great idea however, the hive might not add it as it is applied by armour trims. Maybe edit this idea into the team upgrades as the team upgrades right now doesn’t really give a competitive against other opponents. I would say to add a subsection to the team upgrades that has these perks however, the player can only chose 1 of these 3 perks per game. For the price balancing, maybe the better the armour, the perk wouldn’t apply for as long and vice versa.

Your argument is true but I think there could be a chance they could add this, you saw how they just added Skywars Classics and it featured trial keys and items from the 1.21 update that only came out two months ago.

@Pyrexical7685, it is true that they just added the 1.21 features to skywars classic however, your suggestion is too similar to team upgrades, on top of that, hive has always been really keen on being unique and as hoplite already has trims as cosmetics I don’t really think it would happen.
I really like your suggestion though, it can be adapted to peoples play style, improve the gap between bad players and sweats and it would also help with content creation and replay ability!

I like this idea of having armoUr and then adding trims and hopefully it would be matchable and it would have to be readded with each armour upgrade
