No building in spawn area 
Do not enable building in spawn area inorder to avoid spawn kills, and inorder to avoid blocking access to Merchant (I know you can’t build around the merchant but, a player can just build a wall 5 blocks away).
More information 
A player attacked our team and blocked our access to the merchant, he managed to trap one player, and repeatedly killed him. While we players outsude the wall can’t save him as we had no tools and the attacker hit us when we’re breaking the blocks. Soon, we were killed too. Because we were unarmed, no tools and weapons (all our stuff was now in his inventory). He just killed us over and over again. He mamaged to escape, broke our bed, while we were trying to escape too, but because we had no tools, he final killed us.
. I see what you mean, and it is pretty unfair if we are talking about ctf, and in bedwars it probably is even worse. Now personal I don’t think that I’ve been trapped in bedwars(but I was once in treasure wars) if you could provide a video it would be great to see what you were experiencing. I think the hive should change blocks placeable in spawn area. Have a great day!
