Bedwars Competitive/Faster Paced

Just Bedwars but at a much faster paced

Keeping the Bedwars idea and making it faster is a more fun and entertaining way of playing the game. Ever since Bedwars released I thought it was way to slow and just not as fun as Treasure Wars.

Changing the knockback back to the old treasure wars knockback will also make it more fun. At the moment it is really hard to combo so adding the knockback back will add more skill and less trading hits.

The knockback is what made it the best.

No, changing the knockback to how it was- will lead to domination of better players ( in every game ). And it is simply not fun. The game is strategically based.

I think they should put something in the middle of those, kb makes so it’s harder start a combo then ever and with all the op things that need no skill bewares isn’t as skilled as tw(which isn’t the worst thing in the world). But the kb should be something in the middle.

I agree the game should have no skill involved (this is a joke) why would the game be fun with no skill. Thats like the whole point of pvp. This also means that you can spend an infinite amount of time in the game and still lose since you say there should be no skill. Also treasure wars still had a lot of strategy. A better idea that i have is to just have a separate version of bedwars, the casual one that hive currently has and on that is the opposite of what you said. Thanks for that your perspective.

I disagree it is the worst thing in the world, there is a reason I hate the idea of gambling, but it’s a game. Never mind they are the same thing. I hate Mario kart because I keep losing due to me getting garbage items and being unlucky. Even though bedwars isn’t luck based I don’t want to camp at my base the whole game and I also don’t want to lose to someone who also camped at there base the whole game. That sounds like gambling. :pig: I loved the old kb so much, that’s what made the PvP interesting. Sorry for the rant but thanks for your opinion.

We didn’t make any changes to the combat mechanics in BedWars, including knockback.

Actually it’s hit detection, cause of all the 3d models, the hit makes it seem like the kb is different.

no it isn’t. it isn’t ping. it just looks like different kb, but you do go the same distance. It’s cause hit detection.

I don’t think the models effect anything, there are 4 at base, 1 at diamond island and 4 at mid; not all 40 models are loaded at once. Plus, even if they changed kb, it makes the sweats not dominate as much (no-one finds it fun to be juggled for xp)

But then less skill is required, and players level up for nothing. I think it’s much worth to have a player that learns than a player that other players think are good, but isn’t. And for the good players, it’s hard to start a combo without projectiles. Overall, models do effect since like no other game has these models, also being bigger maps, and the bed being a custom model, I think it does effect kb in a way.

Even if your good, leveling up in bedwars still takes time. Some people are still at level one and the only good way to level up is with a party (trust me I would know, that was my life for like all of the week before seasons lol)

Mm? I do get your point but I don’t see a difference though idk how to even start combos in the first place so I may not know as much and not see much of a difference
