Anticheat Adjustments

Recently, the anticheat has been way too aggressive toward players with high ping who get ghost blocks. My recommendation is to make the anticheat more lenient toward players with higher ping. I was around 190ms on this region.

What happened here was a combination of high ping and Hive assuming that faster movement caused by ghost blocks at the height limit was bhopping. The anticheat used to be a lot more lenient about this, letting you get away with it for at least 3 seconds, but now, even if it happens once, you get kicked. I suspect this is because Hive fixed extended headhitters disappearing as you’re building them, but they didn’t account for someone placing these blocks at the height limit of a map. I’m pretty sure this is a bug across all gamemodes with blocks.

Also not to mention that hackers are able to bhop at 40bps now, yet doing something like this gets you kicked immediately

I understand that i don’t feel the pain like you do but still it probably is really annoying for people like you. Btw you can vote for your self

Ok i get this. The anticheat should be a bit better. Also idk how the anticheat works, but from what I have seen: it doesnt ban hackers, instead it bans/kicks legit players. Today I have seen like 4 different cheaters wich actually wasnt that bad but still its just kinda weird im not going to lie

it kinda does its job by occasionally kicking blatant cheaters

This is why i dont play on other regions

Agree with you

For various reasons we are unable to discuss the specifics of our anti-cheat and how it functions.

Rest assured we are always working on and improving it.
