do you ever find it annoying when a game of treasure wars starts (solo specifically but any type counts) and the first 30 seconds start and someone is imminently trying to destroy your treasure and they succeed because you weren’t prepared? I gotta do it too sometimes to get people off my hair
well, I have a suggestion to fix this issue! when the game starts you have either 1 or 2 minutes to prepare and none can get into your base and you cant exit it either so that way you can start working on protecting your treasure!
Well I Just read a topic on the same subject and I guess without rushers we would be missing the point of the game, just ignore this thread and post ill just get better
no, this post was made to try and get rid of rushers but I looked at another post and saw all the hate that person was getting and I saw the eniter point of tw was to rush so Ill just get better at tw
It is annoying how the early game in solos seems to be almost solely about who has the best pvp skills, but 1-2 minutes of preparation would be way too much. The rushers would probably have time to get chain armor if it was longer than 1 minute, so it would have the same result anyway, you’d just be spawnkilled first as they work through your defense. That would probably make it even more frustrating toy ou.
Yes, especially because you would spend a whole TWO MINUTES working up your defence, and then you would still get killed, wasting even MORE of your time. If this was added, the player count would decrease due to more frusteration.
I know it can get frustrating at times, and while it’s not inherently part of the game, it’s a strategy players use to eliminate the nearest base and climb their way to victory.
Experiment. Outsmart them. Try to find a strategy that works best for you. Treasure Wars, similar to Hive’s Survival Games, is very situational and there’s no wrong way to play the game unless, of course, you hack or cross-team. Cheating is wrong, that’s a given. You can use various strategies throughout the game (early, mid, and late game) and you’re not limited to only one. Personally though, rushing makes everything much easier.
I hope things get better for you! Practice makes perfect!
I’d say just get a sword and rush them instead. What I do is I get 32 wool, do a basic treasure defense, get 5 gold for a sword, and then build to diamonds, and rush the other person.
I used to be like you though until I just learned that getting a sword is key to countering rushers.
While both have opportunities for there to be differences in gear and skill, I disagree twars is like sg. There are more strategies you can employ in twars, and the gear you have is based off of what you choose to do/how you spend your resources, not luck.
Yes, you mostly rely on luck during the first seconds of an SG match, and there’s a remarkable difference between the two—open the ender chest of your choice, hope to loot great resources, and strategise the rest of your game based on your circumstances.
Your agility, time management, and luck early on influence the outcome.
In Treasure Wars, everyone’s given the resources, and how they want to spend it is up to them. However, I wasn’t referring to the mechanics, more so on the inherent situational attribute of both games. There’s no established plan of action/strategy that’s generally accepted by everyone—the game only instructs you to “destroy all the other team’s treasure” and the rest is pretty much up to you. You actively have to form a plan of action depending on your situation.
For example, if you see someone quickly approaching your treasure and you can’t run back because it’s too far, your best bet would be to put all your valuables inside the ender chest and void. On the other hand, if your base is relatively near, you can still chase after them, etc. This is what I meant when I say situational.
