Allowing pictures of minecraft pets to be posted in the #pets channel on hive discord

In my opinion, I feel that pictures of minecraft pets could be allowed to be posted in the pets channel on hive discord. Like I know, the pets channel is only meant for real life pets. But however, I have seen some people said on that channel that they dont have any real life pets. Even I myself dont have a real life pet. But then however, in order to solve this issue, I feel that mods should allow pictures of minecraft pets to be uploaded in the pets channel as well

I know, those pet owners with real life pets be wondering: But then wont that actually defeat the purpose of having a pets channel since people can now also upload pictures of minecraft pets? Yes, I know even thought that channel is only meant for real life pets, but however, here are my 3 main reasons why minecraft pets are allowed as well.

  1. Minecraft pets are equally as cute as the real life pets

Take these minecraft rabbits for example. Arent they as cute as the real life pet rabbits?

  2. Real life pets are also found in minecraft, which means that real life pets are basically the same thing as minecraft pets

  3. The pets channel description as that anything that is considered as a pet is allowed, not just limited to real life pets, which means that minecraft pets could also be uploaded as well

With this privilege, both minecraft pets and real life pets can be equally viewed by the hive community to see as well as minecraft pets are also able to earn likes and wows from everyone. Also, those people that doesnt have real life pets can at least share their minecraft pets in the pets channel so that they will be able to feel more involved

Have you asked a moderator on discord if you can post there since you might already be able to post there.

this literally implies this suggestion is invalid because Minecraft pets are pets and are therefore pet related

so this suggestion is useless

Whilst I understand your reasoning, if we were to change this rule, it would likely result in a bunch of players just posting random pictures of Minecraft mobs in the channel, which is something we’d rather avoid.
