Idea:
Alert a player that a player they have reported has been resolved and responded to.
More information:
There are just so many hackers on the Hive recently, and it’s becoming such a burden. It would just be nice to know that reports you send to actually are looked at and the players are punished.
Also, it would be a useful feature of the Mailbot… since you get mail in there 3 times a year.
This already exists. Mailbot will have mail whenever your report gets approved.
However staff doesn’t always have time to look through every single report so it might take awhile for your report to get approved, and sometimes they never do.

As @JJ81611 mentioned, there is a Mailbot notification if you submit many accurate reports. However, it’s important to note that, to my knowledge, those notifications are only sent if you submit multiple correct reports that our staff team agrees with. I.e., you won’t receive a separate message for every report you submit.
While I agree that more transparency would reassure players that the staff team is looking into their reports, I see two significant problems with being overly verbose in those feedback messages:
- Some players submit large numbers of reports. If you’d receive a separate message for each report, those would quickly flood your Mailbot inbox.
- Knowing exactly which report was accepted might lead to harassment. This includes harassment of reported players if you know they have received a punishment and harassment of staff members if a report wasn’t accepted and you’re unhappy with that decision without being fully aware of all the behind-the-scenes things that went into making it.
To add to the second point, report results were publicly visible on Java Edition’s reporting website when Hive’s Java Edition server was still around, and sadly, some players abused this feature, as I outlined above.
I want to reiterate this is just my opinion as a player, and I’m not speaking for the staff team or the server here
