Add "toxic behavior" in player's report

Add a button for “Toxics behavior” in the report menu.
(Category behavior)

There are behaviors that ruin games for those who experience them.

We all know players who are stronger than us; it’s natural, and we play along with them.
But sometimes, very rarely, an unfairly repeated action with no opportunity to act can be particularly hateful and toxic for those who suffer the consequences.

Example: ----------------

  • An unrealistic spawnkill (bedwars)
(There are 3 of you, but only one player kills you repeatedly for 7 f***ing minutes, just because you’re unarmed)

  • Targeting a person for NO REASON (bedwars)
(You’re UNARMED in a squad, not the last survivor, your bed is destroyed, everyone has a bed, but the fully equipped player WHO DESTROYED your bed goes out of his way only in order to kill you, even though you pose NO threat)
    -----------------------

→ Consequence of both: You feel powerless, with your chances of victory reduced to zero, a victim of a particularly toxic behavior.

This above all causes a rare DISPLEASURE: you feel without a possibilty ton act, and feel having been treated not as an opponent but as a number.

However, I once had the opportunity to chat with one of these rare executioners. I then realize that people don’t act out of malice, but rather out of recklessness.

(An act he immediately stopped after being asked).

That’s why I’m proposing this addition to /report.
It’s not an irremediable act, but it’s often unconscious, despite the consequences being much more frustrating than actual “cheating.”
The idea would be to warn the authors so they won’t repeat these highly unpleasant actions.

Note: I’ve only encountered this in Bedwars, as I play it a lot, but it’s quite possible that similar behaviors are found in other mini-games.

  1. Spawn Killing is already against the rules and is reportable, so you can definitely report that already.

  2. While that may seem like targeting, they may just want to finish off a team to not have to worry about them later, as ngl that’s how I sometimes play games as well. However if you feel like they’re targeting you directly, you can report it on their discord as there isn’t an option for this in-game I believe.

These are both already against the rules and reportable.

I totally agree with you two. But it will be easier for everybody if we can found it in game.

Welcome to our forums, and thank you for taking the time to leave a suggestion!

The term ‘toxic behavior’ is very broad, and because of this, isn’t really suitable for an option in our in-game reporting menu.

For more complicated situations like the ones you are referring to, especially targeting, which can be very difficult to prove over a single game, it’s better to utilize the reporting channel on our Discord server, where you can provide more information and context.
