Whenever you buy Hive plus, you get the rank with the plus next to your name. For example: iMysticLeaf [+]
But when you when you get a different rank like YouTube rank, your “[+]” becomes [YT] which means your plus goes away.
However those who bought Hive plus and have a different rank should receive the plus at the end of their rank, for example:
Oficey1 [YT+]
BDominikB [Helper+]
And for those people who never got hive plus and have a different should just stay with the same rank without the “+” at the end.
Adding a ‘+’ to Helper would be confusing for average players. Becoming a Helper means committing to serving the Hive community, and the rank itself already signifies that. Introducing a Helper+ rank seems unnecessary. The same goes for other ranks like YT.
It good as it is, Just take it as a higher rank than the Hive+ rank

What about the staff who have [HIVE] if it was [HIVE+] that would confuse new players even if the name is yellow because theres a green + and yellow hive+ so which is the real one?!? Unless they got it themselves of course but thus anotu new players so they would be confused

But the average Hive player doesn’t even find someone with [HIVE] rank. Thought you can make it so the plus appears on the Helper, VIP, and Partner ranks

Yeah YT+ would get confusing as it sounds like a better version of YouTube rank, this idea is better that shows you have 2 ranks.

Disagree. This would cause way too much confusion for players. Especially with staff ranks such as Helper+.

I don’t get the reasoning for…A new rank new you(I’m joking). So every hive yt is gonna have [YT] [+] cause as far as ik every hive YouTube rank was at some point before yt rank plus rank. Anyways, no need to overlap.
I can see where it would be confusing to understand for new players. Although, It would be nice for players, with titles/ranks, to still represent their purchase on The Hive. Most people (assuming) buy Hive plus for the visual affects and less for the perks it gives you, but at that point, would it be too much clutter?
Say a Moderator goes in hub and you see the yellow Moderator rank and name with a green + next to it with a colorful hub title under it. Seems overbearing to look at and will catch A LOT of eyes. Staff deserve to play the server in peace sometimes, as well.
However, a social media rank would prove to enjoy this because their job is to catch peoples eyes and attention!
It’s honestly a toss up here.
If i ever see a rank that isnt grey or + i would probably follow them for halfanhour and try to friend them (dont ask why)
