Legacy Edition is a discontinued version of Minecraft which had official minigames and included the maps shown above.

These maps are similar to Minecraft Java’s MM maps where everyone plays on PCs, where everyone has equal advantages. Unlike Minecraft Bedrock, where players use various devices (phones, consoles, PCs), this can put mobile and console users at a disadvantage. This is unless the Hive build team specifically adjust the maps to balance the experience across all devices.

These maps are very nostalgic and bring back many memories, but I think they contrast with the hive build style and have an outdated design (due to their age). These are survival games maps though but they could probably converted to Murder Mystery maps with some work. The main issue I find (and this might mean nothing) is they are made by 4j studios for the Xbox consoles. This could be a legal issue ( maybe, I am not a lawyer) as 4j or Minecraft own the map rights. These maps may be nostalgic for many, there are still a lot of people unfamiliar with these maps, as they are a newer player (as in joined in the last 5 years or so) or did not use a console version to play. This is a neat idea, but I think it would be better off on a smaller server more focused on having older game modes/build style.

I totally agree with you. Not only is it unfair for the creator of these maps to be stolen, I think they should make some original maps as it would fit their style since the legacy edition’s is far too small compared to any SG map.

As you can see here, most of changes were aesthetic and does not change the actual map. You can see at the bottom that their goal was to not change it too much.
