Add Spectator Role in Bedwars Custom Servers

In most custom server gamemodes, you can change a player’s role to a specific team or to spectator. This is really useful for organizing games, testing strategies, or just watching without interfering.

However, in Bedwars Custom Servers, it seems that the spectator role isn’t available. It would be great if you could add the ability to set players as spectators in Bedwars Custom Servers as well. This would make it easier for hosts to manage games and allow friends to watch without joining a team.

Would be pretty cool if they implemented this so you could spectate games without having to join through friends list.

This will defo be useful! I tried hosting an event but it’s very complicated since the Spectator Role doesn’t exist ;-;

Yes but that would be like your in a world and it would not be fun to do so there would be extra load on server too on hive teams and server will lagg a lot

I don’t think giving your opinion on if you like being in spectator in Custom Servers matters. Spectator role is useful for content creators, tournaments, duels, etc.

There is no reason why this would result in more load on the server, it makes no sense. The server also already has spectator role in other Custom Servers, but not in Bedwars for some reason.

What if ur having a private conversation in the cs?

Nothing is private inside the hive chat, it tells you when you use party chat that messages are still being monitored.

Also the spectator role does not have anything to do with privacy. You can still kick people from the cs, change the access mode, etc.

No I don’t like that idea bc imagine how many cses are gonna be there and if ur a content creator it would be anoint for people to join and spam chat with “CAN U ADD ME PLS @SOMETHIGNSOMETHING”
