Add attack cooldown like on Java Ed

Autoclickers alone wouldn’t be able to get around this, and it would be quite a lot easier for the system to scan for modified clients instead of abnormal attack rate, so please add this and help us out.

Also has anyone else noticed that just about all hackers have the Hive Plus membership? I think they do that to basically pay the devs to not ban them or just so they can look like they’re YouTubers and all hacking reports against them “are just SWATing” because all YouTubers on the Hive have Hive Plus and they can’t tell what is what

Who else thinks dory’s should really be nerfed tho they do way too much KB

Edit: When you encounter someone with hacks, they kill you and eliminate you and there’s nothing you can do about it and then you get mad and you also want to hack and then since YOU can’t do anything you figure “why should anyone else get to either” and then it spirals out of control and then people get mad at each other and give each other VIRUSES (this did actually happen to my friend and his Xbox locked him out of Minecraft with a message saying “if you think you deserve to hack then suck my d***” and he didn’t even have hacks he just had a single slow autoclicker to help with speedbridging.) If you get mad about this you likely either HAVE hacks or want to make it look like hacking isn’t that big of a deal.

There already is an attack cooldown on The Hive. They fixed the combat system so unlike regular Minecraft Bedrock spamming wont make them take more KB. For autoclicking, literally nothing would change since this already exists. Extending the time before you can reattack would just make fights longer while leaving the same result either way.

That is true, but it does need to be more just so that people can’t just punch you so fast you literally can’t move to get away.

Java sucks. Simple as that. What I mean with attack cooldown is like just enough to let you touch the ground before someone can pull you back up with KB from punching.

So you want everyone to hate the combat system? Hive is literally the ONLY featured server with a combat system that’s fixed. All the other servers have horrible knockback, I would suggest playing some of their PVP games and seeing what I mean.

Maybe your not meant to? Increasing the cooldown would just promote running, since they can’t be killed if the time is increased.

Also, do you understand how hard it is to just change the PVP system because if I’m not mistaken, it’s a LOT of work…

JAVA PVP IS LITERALLY BETTER… I would play Java more but it’s much more a hassle and I’m worse at it so I don’t usually. But Java PVP is more tactical therefore better. If you spam click, more KB. If you time hits, more damage…

Bro I play bedwars and ykw I understand why you are mad, but if people can’t run from Autoclickers then it just makes them want to rage quit and report them, and if someone gets reported then it takes even more work for mods to try and investigate.

Damn bros getting mad quickly… I hope you know people who escalate scenarios tend to not get votes. Anyways, you can still get away. It isn’t that hard. If you can’t, just use the ranged weapon known as a bow. It lets you shoot them from far.

And when that happens you report, get the Hive anticheat to kick them, then enjoy your sweet free quest points.

For this part, I was talking about Java PVP, not the entire thing. I suck at Java, but it’s aspects are cool.

Your making it sound like everyone ever had an autoclicker. That rarely even happens. If it does, just like be better and dory them or fireball for all I care. You don’t even need fast CPS to be good. I can beat my friend who has 16CPS while I have 6.

Bedwars is on 1.8 pvp im pretty sure. Go on hoplite its the best 1.9 pvp server

What happened here… Anyway there are bedrock servers that use Java pvp, if you want it, go there. Hive pvp is good and people would be mad if it changed.

To the contrary, I would argue it is far easier to have any skin you want on Java. For java you can use skin editors on your browser or just download any of the tens of thousands of skins you might like.
You can do the same on Windows and any mobile device with internet access, but on console or any mobile device that can’t search the internet, meaning java would be easier to use whatever skin you want.

Few people are going to vote for you if you get angry and start spamming all caps. This is a discussion, the point of these suggestions is to argue over opinions; you don’t need to get mad, though.

Perhaps you’re just lucky enough to not run into any cheaters. I find it very difficult to distinguish between a player with a double clicking mouse or one with an autoclicker. Perhaps you are mixing up the two as well.

You can’t really tell someone to be better when you are getting killed by someone who can click more than 5x the speed as you. That’s like telling a person in a wheelchair to stand up. Bad example, I know.

It takes a while for people to get reported. I reported teamers last year and I still haven’t gotten any quest points. The report system is a bit finicky, but it can only get better from here! Or worse. You never know.

Don’t be like that. That’s just petty. He was arguing because you basically just said “Maybe the point of hacks is to hack?” Also, he wasn’t saying YOU shouldn’t exist, he was trying to say “If you don’t have the ability to get away, then why should you keep fighting?”

Good topic, but I just don’t see it happening, @Hyperblade7160 . As Splodg3r said, be civil even if the person you’re talking to is very mean and isn’t understanding the point.

Yes, but I only click 6 CPS and I can beat hackers. There’s a lot of items that help with winning against hackers in Bedwars. When I said get better, I meant learning how the items worked better so you can deal with hackers if that happens. There’s a lot you can do to be better, even if you can’t be faster. Plus, there is always the ability to learn to time hits, which can work better than autoclicking.

Also they get like autokicked if they are over 20 for a decent amount of time. 5x is an overstatement, I would sylay 2x-3x is more accurate

That may be the experience for you, but they are usually banned pretty shortly after I report them, sometimes they even get banned THE DAY. Maybe this part is just how we each experience it, but this part is more opinion based.

He was making decent arguments, until he started yelling at me for giving my thoughts.

I knew this, but what you don’t entirely get is hackers are pretty avoidable in games and the ones that are not are usually pretty easily banned due to much more obvious hacks.

I understand the point. I was sharing my thoughts, and I was confused when he started yelling out of the blue. I wasn’t trying to be rude, but I feel like I wasn’t the problem either. While the not get votes part was a little mean, I still believed he was escalating it.

This part is for you, next time please don’t come in and call out people for being rude without the full story? There is probably more to both of our sides we have not said and you cant just get mad at one person for talking.

Anyways, I personally don’t like this idea, and you don’t have to agree with me. It’s whatever. I’m going to be taking myself out of this, since it’s just going to end up a big unnecessary fight between us and even maybe more people.
