Add an option to Turn off the skin filter on your screen

Heres a command you can use to see everyone’s filtered skin.

/skinfilter is a command that is turned off by default but you can turn it on and off, there will be serveral warnings about what you may encounter like Inappropriate skins, unfair skins, laggy skins, etc, when turned on, you can see your skin and others’ filtered skins.

i think you can use a resource pack or something to make things look different on your screen

What Resource Pack?

idk exactly but i think you can make your own resource pack and you can code it specifically to change the way things on the hive look, even it’s custom models and npcs

i know that’s not exactly what this is suggesting but i hope this helps at least a little

ok, thanks for the explanation, and this is suggesting something to see everyone’s filtered skin (the skin that was filtered by the skin filter) including your skin just on your screen and nobody else’s screen unless if they have turned it on

This isn’t something we can implement. Skin filtering, and the blocking of custom geometry skins is enforced because of Microsoft policy.

This is highlighted on our support site:

On March 30th 2020, Microsoft introduced new technical and policy changes to (custom) skins in Minecraft multiplayer. This affects players that use skins with custom geometry, sometimes called “4D Skins” in the community.

Marketplace Skins, Hive Costumes and regular Alex/Steve retextures are NOT affected by these changes. We continue to apply Hive-side filters to all skins - this may block some extra small or big skins that are allowed on different servers.

Players that attempt to use custom geometry will appear to be wearing one of our Marketplace skins.
