For the third and final instalment of my Grinding Season Bridge Suggestions, I have a slightly more complicated suggestion. Add a button at the bottom of the Kit Selection menu (the magma cream before the game starts) that confirms you’re ready to start the game. When one player clicks this button a chat message will go out to the other player(s) letting them know a player has requested the quicker start. If all players hit this button, the 3-second countdown will start and the game will begin.
Those 10 seconds before the round officially starts can rack up quick if you’re trying to grind XP, and if we could remove that it could speed up grinding by a significant amount and also remove some of the boring time before the round.
I know, this may seem redundant, but an update with a bunch of changes like these could revive the Bridge playerbase even further than it has with the removal of SBMM.

is it that much of a big deal?
I mean think of those 10 seconds, let’s say you play 1000 games. That’s 10000 seconds spent waiting. That adds up to almost 3 HOURS. And just imagine even more. I agree with this idea. voted

Each game is basically a max of 2 minutes so 2000minutes of playing (33 1/3 hrs) + 166.67 minutes of waiting (2.78hrs); 36 + 1/9 hours of being in bridge only 8% is spent waiting. So it does add up IF you play more than 1 hour and would you REALLY play the bridge for that long when you could play other minigames and also if you play the same game over and over and over youre gonna get bored at some point. Although this should be added as a QoL featire
