add a follower system:
[If a person makes really good suggestion you would like to het an nodification when the user makes a new one]
If you have 50% follower rate then you could get a special reward in game:
[It can also be a partner rank but you can get it way easyer
The reward/rank only counts the people followed who saw your forum account]

Er… Forums aren’t exactly a social network… also everything it’s down to how Discourse works so I think they win’t implement this.
Anyways if you want to “follow” you can use the button near to topics control and select “Watching”.
Also the partern thing is unfair and unbalaced, sorry.
The forums are for suggestions and bug reports. There’s really no point in adding this.

Why would I want to use this? The rewards… you know this isn’t a social media app with influencers and other people… And I’m not expecting people to constantly give these great suggestions, and if I want to keep track of a suggestion, I just watch it.
How would this be useful? getting a reward in game for 50% followers seems kind of tedious, and you could just make alternate accounts. Plus, what would the reward be? A follower system would have no use here because these forums are only for bug reports and suggestions.
