When someone taunts in Hide & Seek, a balloons floats into the air and explodes. This gives the seekers around 5-8 seconds of time to know exactly where you are.
Even though that sounds fitting; it’s already hard to be a seeker in that game, yet I believe a new mechanic should be implemented.
The Functionality.
As stated before, taunting requires you to be careful with your surroundings. And I have to admit: most hiders are quite the opposite.
With this new feature, you can only pop your balloon with your Wooden Sword. Punching it with your fists won’t do anything.
This not only speeds up the process of your balloon popping, but it also:
Reduces cooldown time for your Taunt Menu.
Reduces amount of XP earned by 1/3 (ex. 18XP • 1/3XP = 6XP.
Final Thoughts.
If you want more ideas and everything like that, please add feedback. That’s all I’ve really got for you guys, thanks for reading.
So as I understand if you don’t pop it it will fly on ya head and make you gain less xp . If I got it right this would be veryyy good mechanics cuz literally everything is easier for hiders seekers are fighting for their life instead of them
You got it somewhat right, so you get a half-congratulations!
If you pop it, it won’t go as high and will give you less XP.
If you don’t pop it, it will continue to give you the same amount of XP.
Though I agree that the Hiders are spoonfed while playing, I don’t think it’s fair to get rid of some of their XP. The only thing I can see is if the Taunt actually made more noise that it usually does, maybe even giving the hider a glow effect for 3 seconds.
