I think, here need command for claiming QP and take new quests in game, e. g. /quest claim and /quest take.
Also, you can add command for checking QP balance, e. g. /quest balance.

I feel like changing quests should only be available in the game lobbies, so you don’t take a quest right before you meet the conditions for it
