I think what would be really cool is making a Survival world kinda like Survival Games but it’s just a normal survival world where people can play just survival for fun. You could do anything like steal peoples stuff or team with them or something just like a real survival world. Then all the holes everywhere would reset after the day but your stuff
and your structures would not disappear.
The Hive only does games that take about 10 minutes to play. This wouldn’t have an end as far as I see

Hive is a mini game server. Mineplex and Lifeboat have survival but they each are different
Lifeboat has a smaller world, No grief protection(They did ban Flint&Steel, Water and lava buckets back then but that’s no longer banned), PvP enabled, server resets every few days, loot chests that spawn randomly around the world and is a bit toxic.
Mineplex has an infinite world with no PVP, claim protection, doesn’t reset and a friendly community

To be fair, both those servers run like a turtle in quicksand, a survival mode with hives stability could be promising, but yeah, it wouldn’t fit hive
I honestly don’t trust lots of people and there will be frustrating moments where you have to deal with trolls or people ruining your projects. I’m not a big fan of open-multiplayer survival in Hive or any other server.
They also disabled enchanting due to hackers abusing it 
i don’ think this is a good idea. the hive is all about minigames. one reason is that the hive wants to be friendly for so called noobs, ppl who are new to the game. if there were almost no rules, then it would just become 2b2t. ppl griefing and stealing, a toxic community
They did? I never really noticed. They did the same in Mineplex probably because they could be op
