In honor of the upcoming release of Skyblock Horizons by Hive (hopefully soon), I propose adding a pet “Serious BEN” (below is my author’s concept)

This should be add to the Skyblock Horizons server, not the Hive server.

I don’t think Horizons and Hive need to be connected. Might be better to keep them seperate with the possiblity of a limited crossover event in the future.

Why not? Would it be bad if the main hub had a clickable NPC that, when clicked, would redirect a huge number of players to a SEPARATE Skyblock Horizons server? Let me explain, the main hub of the Hive minigames would simply have a link to another server (Skyblock Horizons), and why can’t cosmetics be added to the main server in honor of such an event?
If this is not done, then most likely Skyblock Horizons will not be popular due to the fact that no one knows anything about it.

I do like the idea of a connection between the two servers. Maybe cosmetics could port over but just have no effect (eg. jetpack wouldn’t fly, mounts maybe wouldn’t exist?).

Why? They are both developed by Hive (not the same team but you understand)

Maybe if you get to a certain something in horizons you get a code to use on hive

No, Skyblock Horizons will be a completely separate server from the Hive mini game, which will also be on a separate server, the only thing that will connect them together (well, as I think and really wish it to be so) is the NPC in the main hub of the Hive mini game, which will play the role of a working link redirecting the player to the Skyblock Horizons server, and the Hive rank (+, U). And my pet concept is just a regular pet for the Hive mini game server in honor of such a great event as the release of the new Skyblock Horizons server! It’s like holiday cosmetics, only for the Hive mini game, of course, that pets, mounts, jetpacks and much more will not be on the Skyblock Horizons server (Although personally I think that cosmetics such as hats, back decorations, costumes, titles should be synchronized with the Skyblock Horizons server, after all, such cosmetics do not affect the gameplay at all)

Dude you’re entire counter-argument is about a suggestion that has nothing to do with your suggestion. Just, why?

No of course Hive would promote their other server on Hive. I wasn’t trying to say they should be kept totally separate and never have any overlay, but that it should be kept to a minimal level.

If you decide to counter this, please don’t make it all about whether or not Horizons and HiveMC should have elements of each, and instead about your pet. Not that you can’t continue that argument at all, just please don’t make it a focal point.
