This is very unlikely to happen due to third-parties but here we go.
So recently i got the platinum trophy for super meatboy (because i play on Playstation) which has got to be the Hardest achievement in my gaming history, and i thought to myself that there should honestly be a hub title reward with the name of a Hard platinum trophy/achievement which has the difficulty of 8/10 - 10/10 which super meatboy’s platinum was. for example for super meatboy’s platinum, it will be shown “Super Meat Boy!” Which is the same name of the platinum for it.
For example, this is super meatboy’s platinum trophy.
You may think its easy at first but if you tried to get it like me, you WILL regret it.
How it works
If you got The platinum trophy on playstation, youll have to send a link to your PSN profile on the PSNprofiles Website to proof it, you ask a support about it, then you can send the link for proof.
on PC, if you have steam, send a link to your Steam Profile with the same steps.
on Xbox, its self explanatory.
Once you Did the steps successfully, you can earn and use your hub title on the server and Start Bragging!
But what the point of this? I don’t see it as relevant to the server as other games have literally no connection to The Hive or something like this.
And as you said, there’s loads of way to cheat an achievement (i don’t know about trophies since i don’t have playstation), so it would make impossible to know who’s legit or not, and its too many games to add Hub Titles for them, because remember, they’d be spending time coding the titles in the game instead of code stuff that would be improvements to the server.
Its a cool idea and all, but not worth the waste of resource and money on it, because it has no connection to the server (at least is what i see of it)
@kahzukie listen, super meatboy’s platinum trophy took me 2 whole months and died 12487 times, impossible boy which required me to beat 20 of the HARDEST levels in the entire game which contains every hazard in the game except one hazard, 20 of those in a ROW without DYING, that took me a week, the amount of Blood, sweat and tears is unbelievable, if that was implemented, it will be proven that being bad at a block game doesn’t mean your bad at EVERYTHING, If you were me, you’d get heavy Amounts of War-like PTSD just like me.
Yeah, ik that, but like i said, developing this will cost money, and time, that could be used to develop for example another game mode, or another functionality, and as I said too, its almost impossible to know at least on Steam to know if the achievement is legit or not because of SAM (Steam Achievement Manager), to be worth to spend the money and resource in this feature.
Only we know how hard we worked for the platinum on the game (I’m doing this on Cyberpunk and Genshin and am planning to do it on Baldur’s Gate 3), but since its waste of resource for the company to do it, for literally no benefit for it, its not worth for them, you see?
Be a competionist is hard and barely worth, because, only We know what we suffered to get those achievements.
Let it be then, let those kids say “skill issue” all they want, this was impossible boy
There was also a character that took me a week to unlock even with 3 levels.
People Nowadays dont understand what we suffered for outside of a simple block game, but fine.
Not to mention, this is a bee themed server in a LEGO game. They have nothing to do with Super Meat Boy, and although your achievement is impressive, they (Hive) have no reason to care.
