I’ve been playing the MCC server recently (I really want that cape lol) and I really enjoy the way they do the Sands of Time and Meltdown minigames. It’s just a lobby with an NPC to enter the game arena, and in Sands of time you play as a single player on a time limit to collect as much gold as possible, while other players can fight the same mobs you can and are in the same arena, and in Meltdown you wait in a queue and enter the arena as a team and play out the game.
I really like the concept of this, and it’s a lot like the old games in the Arcade but singleplayer (in SoT). I think it could work great if it was added with the old hub games as a better version of the Arcade, maybe even like whatever the original idea for the mixed arcade was.
This is something I would really love to see added, whether or not any of the games are like SoT or Meltdown. : D
I don’t think this is a great idea, it only works in hub minigames because there’s no other server to go to (same on the MCC event). Plus… why would you want unnecessary queues??
Unless you just mean hub games
same here (I just have the blue bats challenge left and the cave puzzle one but that should be obvious)
EDIT: I just have to wait 4 days for the challenges… yayyyyyyyy
After playing it for 4 hours(spread out obviously) I have everything but 6 cave challenges left, but I know where 2 are, I just have not got there yet. Also I personally disagree with the queues, those were annoying.
Me too!!! My friend wont get it cus thereye going on holiday and cantbring the switch with them but they dont care much. Also i really liked SoT and want somtging like that to come to hive with different modes where you have a party or go solo
My favorite game there is also sands of time and meltdown. meltdown was like a kind of pve game and sands of time I enjoy that feeling when only 30s left to decide whether to get back or explore more.
Maybe when hive had a “mixed minigame” they could add them?
YES A PVE GAME NOSTALGIA IS GONNA HIT ME LIKE TRUCK(why am I shouting). Sands of time is a great game(although meltdown is one of the worst imo). A dungeons gamemode would be cool(or volcano pve game maybe).
I didnt think i could do MD cus my tablet was going crazy but it counted other peoples shots and somehow was at 160 after one extremely laggy game off me trying to walk forwards and when it didnt lag and i got to room 3 without dying of lag it just pretended iwas in the home screen but its MC Champoinship amd no panorama and i cant play cus it just crashes when i press a world or server and french_toast is my lan server?!?! (If you havent already noticed that is the worlds name)
