#2 The idea of the game "Temporal Portals"

Description:
Players find themselves in a mysterious world filled with temporal portals leading to different historical epochs and fantastic locations. In each era or location, players must complete various tasks, gather resources, and solve puzzles to return.

Game Rules:

  1. Number of Players: 10-50 players.
  2. Game Duration: 30 minutes.
  3. Objective: Score the most points by completing tasks in various epochs and locations.

Mechanics:

  1. Start: All players begin in a central location where they receive initial equipment and instructions.
  2. Portals: In the central location, there are several portals leading to different epochs (e.g., Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, the Future, a Fantasy World, etc.). Each portal opens randomly for a short time.
  3. Tasks:
    • Ancient Egypt: Find and solve the pharaoh’s puzzles in the pyramid.
    • Middle Ages: Save the village from a dragon attack.
    • Future: Collect elements to build a robot.
    • Fantasy World: Find magical artifacts in the enchanted forest.
  4. Resources and Points: By completing tasks, players earn resources and points. Resources can be used to upgrade their equipment or traded for hints.
  5. Competition: Players can cooperate or compete with each other, stealing resources or hindering task completion.
  6. Finale: After the time limit, players return to the central location. The player or team with the most points wins.

Something else:

  • Random Events: Epochs may feature random events (e.g., a sandstorm in Egypt or monster attacks in the Middle Ages) that make task completion more challenging.
  • Upgrades: Players can find or purchase upgrades to help complete tasks faster or defend against other players.

Hello, and welcome to the community.
Yes, I read your complete idea, and I find it interesting as an adventure map. The problem is that it is too long, both in time and action. Do you know why there are no games of this type in The Hive? Because the owners themselves want the style of their games to be short and succinct.

Please I ask you not to feel sad or angry with my comment, it is just my humble point of view.

Greetings, dear settler.

I like this game idea, just the max being 50 is too much, no game would be able to group to 50 players in one game. 1 like it. Voted!

It turns out you can’t write many posts here, but nevertheless, I’ve already written an idea for a new mini-game.

ik, my tablet would die to lag before I die in Minecraft(no insults but us mobile players are dying of lag everyday).
