Item: Mine

Type: Placeable Weapon

Damage: Red Boombox
Knockback: 1/2 KB Boombox

Uses: Single

Specialty: When ANY player gets near, the mine will instantly explode, using itself.

Drops from: Ender Chests, Mystery Chests, Emerald ore

Other notes
When placed, it won’t work for 10 seconds so the placer doesn’t blow up.
Appears as a small impression on the block it’s placed on.

Should the item remove blocks on activation?

yeah, but tnt doesnt explode instantly

imo if you feel the need to affect the topic you should be in favor of the idea…

Ok then add instatnt by literally just duping the blocks code, changings its texture and name and namespace, then changing the explosion time, done.

yeah thats kinda how things work. and also it activates when a player gets near it, not when placed so yeah

Okay then just use a script that has something along the lines of /execute at @e [r=3] run tag Eplod , also in the code when it has the tag Eplod it will run the explosion event oh wait this is a bloxk, ok then make it a entity block then?

not really a block, more like an entity that can be placed like a block

Bump! I feel as if the current weekly items are becoming rusty, and plus, this could be a really funny trap if you put it under the mystery chest along with a hole leading to the void, where the person tries to break the mystery chest but falls in the void in the process! Also, I voted by the way

It should be able to explode when literally anything touches it. Your teammate, your sword, even you should be affected by the explosion. Y’know, after the 10 seconds of nothingness.
