Taking shield items to hub

There is a bug/exploit that allows you to take items that can be used as shield to anywhere and don’t disappear until used, i now have a “Next Trap” button in my inventory.

Any item that can be used in shield can be stored and taken anywhere until you leave or used them ingame.

Can you possibly get a video of this to help me fully understand what is happening?

I had the next trap arrow in my offhand, i could carry it everywhere.

so theoretically couldn’t you save arrows from games and use like 3 or more arrows on murder mystery?

What NumberMist is referring to is that during a mini-game, if you were to move an item from anywhere from within your inventory into the offhand slot (located in-between the armour slots and crafting menu) before the game ends. Then once the game does end all the items apart from the one within the offhand slot will be removed. So going into the next game or another game/hub you will still have this in your offhand - which can therefore be used.

how did my post dissappear

Same I gave off a good explaination…

I have attempted to replicate this in-game. It seems that the items you ‘put’ in your shield slot are only there visually - the game doesn’t actually see you carrying the item in that slot. I have tested this in MM with the arrow, since that’s the only way I could think of where the bug could be a problem. You will see the arrow get carried between lobbies, but you can’t actually use it and it will disappear if you try clicking on it

It’s possible to duplicate the item using the crafting grid in your inventory but it will still get removed if you’re not supposed to have it in that game. (You can have multiple locker items in the lobby.)

This is because our server does not have a proper implementation of the “off-hand” slot. Although you may see the item, it is not there server-side and thus provides no advantage.

That being said this is on our backlog to be fixed, as we want to be able to support the full functionality of the minecraft client.

Closing the thread as the information required has been given! Thank you!
