It doesn’t really make sense why I can’t place a cobweb on a block someone is standing on.

But from yesterday’s experience I don’t think you can.

Yeah the same thing happens in just build, you can’t place blocks where you’re standing even if they have no collision box, like buttons it’s annoying. It happens with most non full blocks like doors and trapdoors from what I can remember.

If I could, you can bet in SG I would cobweb people I snuck up on so they couldn’t get away, but that’s not what happens
If you could place cobwebs on where people are standing then that would make them overpowered.
You could easily trap someone, walk a few blocks back and bow them to death
