Ok. This is a controversial post but I think I have to make it.
Strike it lucky was added in szn 2 as a team upgrade. It makes a chance of EMERALDS spawning in the generator. This was a huge red flag to start because of not needing to go to mid. Second, the upgrade is SUPER CHEAP! 5 emeralds for a lot more in return is way too op, especially in squads or manor where there is 2 and 3 generators.
Season 2 had great changes but farmable emeralds shouldn’t have been added.
its only a small chance of generating an emerald so i dont really see how its a problem. People still go to mid tho
to be fair, the auto deepslate defense and certain maps requiring more blocks than season 1 is a much more of a bigger issue than emeralds being obtainable through gens
after the gens are maxed the small chance of ems generating becomes larger because gens generate faster
But i still don’t see how it still a problem like it only slightly increases the chances also its not everytime an emerald will spawn. Then simply dont upgrade the gens to max if u don’t want emeralds to spawn. Even if all generators generates one em, its still a low chance
Also i don’t see how a small change to generators affect the whole game
there is no issue with it it is well balanced
it usually takes like 5 minutes on average to even make up for itself; I dont think its a problem tbh

I agree while everyone is saying that it’s a small thing, once when I got the upgrade in a solo game, I went to the diamond gen and came back to FIND 2 WHOLE EMERALDS IN THE GEN ALREADY, that’s crazy enough and way too OP but instead of removing it I think we should just tune it down a little like maybe 1 emerald ever 2 and a half mins
Ok but you spent 5 ems on the upgrade. Thats 3 emes that will take time to earn back.

Going to mid is faster and gets you more emeralds
As somebody who rushes in solos, I never see this upgrade
It is mainly in squads where people purchase its upgrade. in squads there are more gens
